About

I am a retired petrophysicist with an avid interest in travel and photography.

I recently acquired a 4×4 Sportsmobile, which I will use to get to places that might not be accessible via stock passenger vehicles, and in which I can stay at nearby shooting locations, rather than having to camp in a tent or travel from other lodgings.

My current camera gear includes a Nikon D850, Nikon lenses (14-24mm, 24-70mm, PC-E 24mm, 80-400mm, 10.5mm DX Fisheye, 105mm Micro, 35mm DX, 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8), Lee Filters, Progrey Filters and various screw in filters.

I am currently holding onto an older Nikon DX camera and a few DX lenses, but these might go away and/or I might convert the DX camera to IR.

Most of the photos on this site and more of my photos can be viewed on my Flickr page.

I hope that you enjoy this site and will offer suggestions, advice and comments.
